Why join Ranbuild?

RANBUILD manufactures and supplies standard building designs within the following parameters;

1. All RANBUILD buildings are manufactured from BlueScope cold rolled pre-galvanised, hi-tensile steel sections for long life and low maintenance.

2. RANBUILD buildings are engineered to comply with all relevant Standards Association of Australian codes. Wind loads are in accordance with SAA loading AS1170-2.

3. RANBUILD buildings are available in two different types to suit various market needs. The Sundown garages feature screw together frames for fast, low cost assembly of small to medium size buildings; the Covermaster sheds features fully bolted connections and locating plates for added strength and rigidity in medium to large size buildings.

4. For optimum performance and value, RANBUILD clear span buildings have several standard roof pitches. These range from 10 to 26  degrees in gable roof buildings and 5 degrees in monoslope and duplex multispan buildings.

5. RANBUILD buildings are designed for fully or partly enclosing with vertically attached, preformed metal cladding. There are also models that may also be enclosed with concrete or clay bricks, blocks or panels.

6. RANBUILD buildings are modular with spans and eaves heights to suit popular steel cladding sheet sizes. Building lengths are infinitely variable by adjusting intermediate portal frame locations to suit cladding module sizes.

7. RANBUILD buildings are all designed with main frame columns connected to footings with base plates. This allows many footing options including concrete piers or slabs, metal beams or screw in anchors so that RANBUILD sheds may be installed in permafrost, sand, clay or rock without modification.

8. RANBUILD standard engineering covers the widest possible range of conditions, wind and super-imposed loads. There are standard designs for Cyclonic buildings or those to be built in snow country.

Ranbuild Design Software.

Ranbuild offers state of the art and comprehensive building design and pricing software customised to client needs.

And it is getting better all the time.

RANBUILD first computerised its engineering data and installed C.A.D. software in the mid 1980s. Since then, RANBUILD have continued developing an integrated building order and data processing system. All RANBUILD sales, design, processing and dispatch employees have a computer that is networked to a central data server. Every one has instant access to the current data and all facets of any job in process.

In the year 2000, Ranbuild launched a new and unique computer pricing and quoting system known as Ranbuild Design Software (RDS).

RDS allowed resellers to prepare quotations quickly and accurately. All the documents and information required to prepare the quotation is used to order and process the building; this effectively eliminates time lag and transposing errors associated with manual systems.

Versatile.

Ranbuil software allows best fit and actual size options when entering the basic details. That means a customer is given the choice of a quotation for exactly or for the most economical size nearest to their requirements.

Ranbuild software also allows the option of selecting the number of bays within the overal building length. This is essential for multi-vehicle garages with side wall access or when setting out dual purpose buildings such as garaports.

Practical.

RDS allows for addition and subtraction of side or end walls simply by clicking on the plan. Partition walls can also be added just as easily at main frames.

The building may be viewed from any side as well by selecting an elevation icon. Each view shows the building in the actual colours selected so the customer can see exactly how their finished building will appear.

Functional.

RDS includes hundreds of different size and colour vertical roller doors. There are also a range of coloured metal clad access doors and aluminium framed windows, plus optional openings for items such as sliding glass doors.

Doors, openings and windows, are simply click and drag. Just select the item requires and drag it onto the wall where required. Choose the quantity, colour and size from the menu provided and RDS does the rest.

Comprehensive.

RDS provides a comprehensive range of supplementary drawings from plans and elevations to component layout and footing plans.

Architectural and detailed Engineering drawings are produced at the click of a button. This provides the customer with almost all the documentation needed to make a building application.

Accurate.

RDS is fast and accurate. It produces a fully detailed quotation and order then a similarly detailed bill of materials for checking components.

When it comes time to construct, the computer generated footing and slab plans make an easy job of setting out for concreting.

The advantages of a proven processing system and comprehensive database are many. Shortages and errors are eliminated. Flexibility in design provides building solutions for Domestic, Commercial, Industrial or Agricultural use in varying conditions, wind loads or other constraints.

No one has a better system, wider range, more experience or a longer track record in this field than RANBUILD.

Who can join Ranbuild?  

1. The most important requirement is the want to operate and succeed in your own business.

2. All Ranbuild Resellers own their business; Ranbuild is not a franchise where you pay someone else the right to use their name, designs or products.

3. Resellers are required to establish their own Building Display Centre. This is a critical factor in the success of the Ranbuild marketing system. Customers like to see what they are buying and Ranbuild like to show them.

4. Prospective Resellers will need the skills to run a business with an annual turnover exceeding $1m. Some computer experience is essential and an understanding of e-commerce is desireable.

5. Many Ranbuild Resellers offer a complete service to their clients. This may include the laying of concrete slabs or footings, and/or the erection of the buildings. People handling and contract negoiation skills are important.

6. Existing Resellers of other building brands can change over to Ranbuild at minimum cost. New Resellers will need access to capital to finance construction and fitting out their site.
