Ranbuild Schoolmasters.

Schoolmaster colas offer shelter from the extremes in all weather conditions.

SM_2. Unlike fabric covers that still allow penetration of harmful ultra violet rays, Ranbuild Schoolmaster colas provide solid shade and maximum protection from the sun.

Ranbuild Schoolmaster colas come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. There are models to cover small lunch areas or large playgrounds.

A cola may be ordered as a roof only (as illustrated above and at right) to provide open shelter.

Fully enclosed colas have been supplied to schools and other institutions for use as assembly and function halls. SM_3.

SM_4. Fibreglass or pollycarbonate skylights may be added where required in roofs or walls to provide soft, natural lighting.

Thermal or accoustic insulation may also be added to the inside of Schoolmaster colas. The 150mm deep galvanised steel roof and wall purlins allow for simple instalation of a variety of rigid or fabric insulation materials.

Ranbuild Schoolmaster colas may be partly or fully enclosed to increase protection. There are twenty different colours from which to choose plus contrasting trims.

The model shown at right has both ends enclosed and a curtain wall added to each side. SM_5.

SM_6. Partly enclosed Schoolmasters make ideal assembly, activity or open classroom areas.

The cola illustrated at left has a hardboard lining one end for students to play handball. The building is also high enough for other games such as netball and basketball.

For larger schools, Ranbuild have wide-span Schoolmaster colas capable of covering multiple ball game and tennis courts.

Sports days will never be cancelled again at the school on the right. SM_7.

Ranbuild colas have safety as well as protection of children in mind. Optional colorbond steel column protectors 2.4m high are available for enclosing columns.

Bracing of buildings is critical if they are to stand pressure from wind and other loads. Conventional bracing would be unsatisfactory in a schoolyard environment so Ranbuild developed special lateral bracing for their range of colas.

Recreation and sports areas.

Special purpose buildings.

Watersport, aquatic centres, or simply pool covers; there is a Ranbuild building to suit.

Important note! Steel buildings used in corrosive situations such as swimming pools, chemical or fetilizer storage, boiler rooms, livestock housing or aggressive atmospheric locations need additional protection in the form of added coatings not provided by Ranbuild.

Indoor sports enclosures.

Ranbuild can cover almost any indoor games and playing areas. Motor vehicle and motorcycle gymkhanas, dressage arenas and other equestrian events, skiing, and cricket are examples already in use.

Ranbuild have covered tennis courts, skating rinks and hockey fields. There is virtually no limit to the size of indoor enclosures.
